Process Groups & Workshops

What is a process group?

A process group is intended for individuals to share experiences and get support from others. It can be a powerful tool because of the unique opportunity to receive multiple perspectives, support, encouragement and feedback from other individuals in a safe and confidential environment. The group size that typically consists of 6-10 people and it is lead by a trained mental health facilitator. The group is structured but interactions between group members are encouraged. Though the theme of the group will focus on main topics, participants can bring their own issues that they feel are important to discuss with the group that will help them process.

Process groups are a safe, confidential environment in which individuals can gain valuable insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.  Group members learn and practice new ways of interacting with others, ultimately developing the tools they need to create more meaningful and authentic relationships in the real world.
